Life can be very stressful on our bodies but even more on our SKIN. Stress is not only mental, it has physical, internal effects on our bodies. When the body is under stress, the level of cortisol (known as the stress hormone) in our bodies increase significantly triggering a rise in inflammation, and your skin becomes more sensitive and prune to break outs. Stress can trigger psoriasis, rosacea and eczema. It can also cause hives and skin rashes.

 Ways to ease up stress and help your skin heal:

 First and foremost, sleep well and exercise.
